Breeding:
Breeds throughout the year, but reproductive activity peaks February – March and June – August. Litters of 1-3 young sometimes 2 litters per years. Newborn is 2” long and weights ¼ oz.

Sign:
Mounds of excess soil.

Habitat:
Open fields; pastures; open woods.

Range:
Southeastern Alabama, s Georgian and n Florida.
